Welcome to Summer Eats - the easy way to locate free and nutritious meals for kids during the summer. A free mobile APP that Minnesota families can use to source meals for their children up to age 18. Kids and teens can download the APP too. Anyone 18 or under can simply show up and eat, without any registration or prior sign-up. Powered by GPS, the APP shows the nearest serving sites, their menus and days and hours of operation. Free meals are offered at a variety of locations including parks and recreation sites, community centers and schools. You can see a picture of the site, determine how close you are and how to get there easily. We've made it simple so kids don't miss a meal when they are not in school.
